Weekly photo challenge: Admiration

Admiration   – another Great A challenge!

“We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless.”

Oscar Wilde ,  The Picture of Dorian Gray

“Have you ever felt the longing for someone you could admire? For something, not to look down at, but up to?”
― Ayn Rand

Weekly photo challenge: Abstract

Abstract   is a great idea!

What and how can be (or is) abstract?

Abstract as an oposite to concrete?

Does “abstract” mean no details?

Abstract is a concept, not a story?

The photograph tells nothing about the  past nor about the future…There is no story behind and no story in front of…

Abstract forces to think, not to feel?

Conceptual vs detailed? Empty  vs full? Colorful vs monochromatic? Rational vs emotional as abstract vs concrete? Cold vs warm?

Love, hate, miss, disappointment are abstract?

What does make picture abstract – visuals or titles?

More questions than answers…

Eternal vs temporary. Life vs death.

An abstract yellow spot? Lemon as a funny present. With the past. in the present  and with the future dilemma  -to make lemonade or grab tequila&salt?

My guilty response to Rule of Thirds challenge

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Rule of Thirds.”

Winter and spring  below.

Every time I read rules of weekly photo challenge I feel guilty for not responding. For my camera on the shelf.

I really  miss  love affairs with my camera. Even momentary ones. Our secrets and our mutual discoveries.

Weekly Photo Challenge: express yourself 2

Reply to my Friday excitement: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_photo_challenge/express-yourself/

“Today, we challenge you to show us what “express yourself” means to you…”

I love streets and people…Street is the best stage for expression, but not always very welcome

Girls  and dogs who entertains us

people who do graffiti

people who play like kids with soap bubbles

guys who dress like girls to express themselves

statues that paint the toe nails

superheroes who  greet and meet you on the streetsIMG_6939
